She has barely made her foray into the Telugu circuit but in no time, she has gathered a lot of recognition and attention. Her name is Malishka and she was seen in the movie ‘Dongala Bandi’ and the recent release ‘Nachchavu Alludu’.
Malishka is now being deemed as the latest sex bomb and given her hefty and voluptuous figure along with her beautiful looks, she has it all to make it big.
Many say that Malishka should focus a bit on her dance and if she does that, she would give even the big girls like Mumaith a run for their money.
However, sources close to her say that she is keen on doing more of roles than just be a glam doll. Wonder how the audience will take this.

Deepika Ran For charity

Begaluru recently had organised a charity marathon and had requested the pretty and sporty Deepika Padukone for being the celebrity guest of the event. And the result was that the event produced a whopping Rs 1.3 crore as the collection that will be used for 80 different causes.

Both the organisers and the actress were thoroughly surprised and equally glad with the huge outcome. Not only that; it is said that there was 300% rise in the registration for this marathon this year. Deepika was really pleased and said, “There was a huge turnout and I am very glad that I associated myself with an event like this. If me being there and giving an hour of my time makes such a huge difference I can help and support it. I will always be available for such events. I guess because I am from Bengaluru it has also made a difference. The marathon was very well organised and sports will always be a priority for me.”

According to sources, Deepika was only interested to do this charity and agreed to participate in the marathon free of cost.

Looks like Deepika believes that charity is the only asset that never fails to pull in positive energy!

Jyothika and Suriya’s policy

It is known fact that two top talented stars of South, Suriya and Jyothika married a while ago are enjoying their lives. Recently, during a small talk with Suriya he shared some interesting facts of their marriage.

It seems that Jyothika has put a home policy that they would never talk about their profession at home. Suriya said this when a question has come about Jyothika’s interest to return to the silver screen.

Suriya kept the options open to Jyothika saying that she may come back if she gets a right opportunity. For now, it is being said that both Suriya and Jyothika will pair up for an ad that talks about awareness on cancer.

Magadheera’ goes to Europe

Mega powerstar Ramcharan Teja who has teamed up with super successful director S S Rajamouli and ace producer Allu Aravind for his new movie ‘Magadheera’ is currently all smiles since the audio is said to be getting good response.

This is being made at a high budget and now the unit has gone to Europe for the canning of the song ‘Naa Kosam Nuvvu...’. With this, the shooting part will be complete and the makers are looking at releasing the film with maximum prints throughout the world during the last week of this month.

The other credits are story – Vijayendra Prasad, dialogues – M Ratnam, music- M M Keeravani, photography – K K Senthil Kumar, styling – Rama Rajamouli.

Nidhi Subbaiah goes for image makeover

She has done mostly glamorous roles so far and was in the news recently for lip-locking scenes in Telugu film "Sweetheart". But Nidhi Subbaiah says her fans will see her in a completely different avatar in director Mohan's forthcoming film "Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baro".

"I play a simple middle class girl in the film. I look glamorous only in one song. I promise you that this film will show my acting talents. I was happy to receive good suggestions from my co-stars - Ramesh Arvind and Mohan," Nidhi told IANS.

Recently, the actress was criticised for doing bold scenes in "Chamkaisi Chindi Udaisi". But Nidhi, who watched the film in Mysore with her friends and relatives, says the criticism is baseless.

"The dances in the film were much discussed in the media, so I went to watch it with all my friends and relatives. They were gung ho after seeing the film.

"I don't know why people are discussing the songs. The censor board has not found anything objectionable in the songs. And I'm not the first actress to wear some revealing clothes," said Nidhi.

"I agreed to wear the costumes because I was convinced by director Babu's argument while we were shooting the song 'Bejaanaagi premisu' in Bangkok. And the journos, who saw it in a special screening session, told me that I looked like a diva in the film. I take it as a compliment."

Talking about her kissing scene in "Sweetheart", which is a dubbed version of Tamil movie "Kadalan Kadali", she said: "I feature in one of the important roles in 'Kadalan Kadali'. The film is now dubbed in Telugu and will be released as 'Sweetheart'.

"I'm told that the publicists and producer of dubbed Telugu version are claiming that I have done lip-locking in the film. But I have not done any such thing. I had a very small part in the film, which ends in just 15 minutes. Though I wore some glamorous costumes in the film, I have to reiterate that I did not do any kissing scene."

‘Vyapari’ to hit screens on 11th

The Tamil hit ‘Vyapari’ is now dubbed into Telugu and is releasing with the same title under the Pranathi Creations banner. It has wrapped up the censor formalities and will be hitting the screens on the 11th of this month.

The film has S J Suryah as the hero while Tamannah, Malavika and Namitha are the heroines. The producer is Kunireddy Srinivas and director is Sakthi Chidambaram and it also has Nasser and Prakashraj in key roles.

The film is getting released with 50 prints across the state and the makers say that there is full glamour feast for the audience and they add that Suryah is doing a double role.
